We are owned by the Danish-based Salling Foundations, and part of our profit is donated to culture, education, sports and community. Since 2012, the foundations have donated 1,9 billion DKK. Our history began in 1906 with the first Salling store in Aarhus. Today, Salling Group is Denmark’s most diverse retail group, covering household chain brands such as føtex, Bilka, Netto, and Salling. We operate around 2,100 stores and web shops in Denmark, Poland, Germany, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania and Starbucks and Carl's Jr. franchises in Denmark. Our 70,000 colleagues welcomes more than 12 million customers each week. Towards 2028, our strategy is to accelerate our strategic priorities and raise our level of ambition significantly. The business strategy, ASPIRE '28, includes goals for more stores, acquisitions and mergers in existing and new markets, as well as a new innovation fund.
