THE LOBSTER MAN is one of the original tenants of vibrant Granville Island in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia. We have been in the business of selling live shellfish since 1977 and are Vancouver’s premier destination for live lobster and crab. Our 25,000 gallons of salt water is temporary home to Nova Scotia Lobster, Queen Charlotte Island Dungeness Crab, Alaskan king crab and a large variety of clams, scallops, mussels and oyster species. Live shellfish can be purchased and packed for travel for shipment around the world. Live crab and lobster can be cooked for you in our big steamer pots at no extra charge. Our friendly and helpful staff can also provide you with delicious recipes and ideas for a superb seafood experience. Not only do we serve the general public from our Granville Island location, but we also distribute to local restaurants, hotels and supermarket chains.
