Acorn Landscaping is a full service landscape company located in the Durham Region. For over 24 years we have been providing superior landscaping services to residential and business clientele in Oshawa, Toronto, Cobourg, Whitby, Brooklin, Bowmanville, Newcastle, Courtice, Ajax, Pickering and surrounding areas. Mike Forbes, the owner, has always had the passion to work outdoors. This prompted him to take the Landscaping Program at Durham College. In 1985, after graduating, Mike started working in landscape services industry. His love for the work and enjoyment of being outdoors motivated him to take on landscaping projects on nights and weekends on his own after putting in his regular shift for his daytime employer. It wasn't long before Mike had established a regular clientele who saw the value of Mike's passion and dedication to his work. In 1989 he formed his own company, Acorn Landscaping. Acorn's basic philosophy is the same today as it was back in 1989, to grow the business one satisfied customer at a time. Mike's wife, Tammy, has extensive experience in customer relations and sales. Tammy is usually the first point of contact and works with Acorn's valued customers to ensure their continued satisfaction. Mike's eldest son, Michael, began working at Acorn Landscaping in 2004. Michael is continually upgrading his specialized knowledge in the field of landscape maintenance, construction and design. Today, Michael is the Foreman in charge of maintenance. Acorn Landscaping provides a wide variety of landscape services including the design and installation of driveways, front door entranceways, steps, walkways, pool landscaping, patios, retaining walls, tree surrounds, gardens, water features, full front yard and back yard landscapes, flower planting, tree and shrub planting and driveway edging.
