Brux Night Guard was founded by two partners with very different views about nighttime teeth grinding and dental mouth guards. We had worked together for years without ever discussing the subject until it came up one day in a conversation. After several long conversations between the two partners, and over a year of researching Bruxism, we decided to take the best of what we found and create a completely new mouth guard for teeth grinding. We began by talking to several dentists and dental technicians about Bruxism and the best ways to treat it. Next, we interviewed friends and family members who have teeth grinding problems. Many of them regularly use mouth guards purchased from a dentist. We found that they all paid approximately $600 for their mouth guards. We also found that most of them thought they found some relief but the mouth guards were too hard or too big, and not as comfortable as they might be if they were designed differently. After quite a bit of research and design testing, we knew that we had found the best combination of features and design elements to provide a teeth grinding mouth guard that rivals all the others, even the ones created at the dental office. And at a fraction of the cost. After tweaking the design, we found a manufacturer in the United States who provided more insight into the materials and manufacturing process. The president of the company personally guided us through the process and offered some design advice we hadn't thought about initially. The road from initial idea to functioning product has taken several years but we feel we have created the best mouth guard on the market for people that suffer from teeth grinding and clenching. But don't take our word for it. Every person is different, with unique teeth patterns and reasons for grinding. We ask that you give it a try and see for yourself.
