Earthwise Society is a catalyst for the creation of sustainable communities through empowering individuals to take responsibility for social, economic and environmental well-being. Our approach is based on the belief that individual choices do matter. By working together with others in our local communities, we can create a sustainable future. Operating on a three-acre site in Boundary Bay, British Columbia, the Earthwise organic farm and community garden is a beautiful and unique facility that models sustainable practices and provides opportunities for active learning and stewardship. The Earthwise Farm puts the community in touch with food, where it comes from, how it grows, the ecological costs of getting it to our tables, and the importance of sustainable growing practices. The Earthwise Garden demonstrates that it is possible to have a healthy, beautiful landscape without the use of chemicals.
