Green Berry Digital is a company established with an ultimate objective to create job opportunities for the youth of Hunza through the provision of Digital marketing services to overseas clients and businesses. Green Berry Digital endeavors to provide employment opportunities for women at their threshold. On extreme northern tip of Pakistan lies picturesque Hunza valley where literacy rate is highest among other regions of Pakistan but unfortunately unemployment among youth especially girls is at staggering heights. Universities produce graduates in bulk, after each semester hundreds of youths come out of universities after completing their education but job market for these fresh graduates is extremely limited especially for women graduates. In a year only a handful of youth succeed in finding a job while big chunk of the educated youth remains unemployed and very often this leads to frustration, disappointment and may drag youth in other social evils. In bigger cities like Karachi and Lahore job market is highly competitive, youth of Hunza come with average educational backgrounds , hence they face various challenges like competing with city people in job market, working in estranged environment living thousands of kilometers away from their hometown.in addition to this our youth are also facing security issues especially girls in current circumstances. In order to counter above mentioned challenges, five like-minded individuals have teamed up to establish a digital marketing company where maximum youth of Hunza can be employed, digital marketing / free lancing is the only trait which has potential to employ thousands of fresh graduates of the entire region.
