Grufesa Information

Grufesa is a passion: the passion to transform the strawberry into a unique experience. We decided to specialize exclusively in this fruit, because only this way we can fully understand its secrets while obtaining the maximum quality. Grufesa is guarantee, not only because of the internal controls and the national and international legislation that are applied to the product, but also for its adequacy to the requirements and protocols demanded by its customers, as the International Food Standard (IFS), British Retail Consortium (BRC), GlobalGAP or Grasp (additional module to evaluate the company responsibility and its good social practices). Grufesa is a reference of Huelva strawberry sector. It currently distributes the production of 39 partners, with built facilities covering almost 17.000 m2, 440 hectares of crops, about 33 million strawberry plants and 26.000 tons of fruit traded every year. Its a wealth and development agent to its environment, a driving economic force in the region for over 3.000 people, to which we should add a large number of employees, indirectly related to the company.
