Kas Kastner Information

This website is dedicated to the racing of R.W. "Kas" Kastner (August 30, 1928 - April 11, 2021). Racing in Triumph sportscars, sailboats, and Nissan prototype race cars, Kas and his teams have run in the front of the pack and won championships in all of these categories. "Kas, from his position as Competition Director for Standard-Triumph in the United States, was the guiding influence and prime instigator for the company's success, essentially writing the book on how to successfully race cars on a budget and setting the standard for others in the industry to follow." (British Sports Car Hall of Fame, 2017) Throughout this website you will find many classic photos with descriptions, videos, historical articles, and information on the annual Kastner Cup race event that began in 2003.
