MRA specializes in smart machine automation and has developed a suite of mine-to-port materials handling products that are well-proven over generations of field deployment. Our key point of difference lies in our deep understanding of machines and the automation process in combination with our use of laser technology and advanced data modelling. We have had a long collaboration with the University of Newcastle (Mechatronics). Our products are integral to four major coal terminals shipping 250mtpa, and include: Smart Stockyard Management System is world class and represents a significant advancement in the management of a modern mined-material stockyard, its stockpiles and machines, including job and task management. Our highly accurate, volumetric, stockpile model is enhanced by laser technology which produces machine-level instructions that help to maximise time-in-material. This has shown to increase average production throughput by 13.7% on manually optimised automated machines. Our quality management solution can track-and-trace 100kg blocks through the materials handling life-cycle onto the vessel, including attached properties. The Smart Wagon Product Suite forms part of a full train load-out or dump station automation solution that can replace an onsite operator or an aged photo-electric (PE) cell solution. Machine-to-machine anti collision provides a SIL-rated functional safety anti-collision solution. Ship Loader-Vessel anti-collision uses our scanning technology to accurately locate the ship loader relative to the vessel.
