Resound Church Information

Thank you for visiting us today! The story of Resound is an incredible testimony of God’s faithfulness. We’ve seen thousands of lives radically transformed by a relationship with Jesus. It is a movement of God, and it is still growing today! My wife Alissa and I originally from Sydney, Australia, where we were a part of Hillsong and Inspire Church. We have a radical heart for people to fall in love with Jesus, and to fall in love with who they are in Jesus. We started Resound Church with just 7 faithful people in our living room in Portland, Oregon on January 23rd, 2011. It has now become a global movement where thousands of people within campuses across Oregon, Colorado, Europe and now Orange County, California, gather to encounter Jesus and build lasting relationships within the church body. Some days of mine are spent preaching in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Europe and America, right now though there’s no place I’d rather be than my than in my home church of Resound OC, shepherding the incredible community there. My wife Alissa is originally from Australia, while I grew up in New Zealand. Growing up I played a lot of Rugby (Go All Blacks!) and Alissa was an Interior Designer in Surry Hills, Sydney. She is a passionate and Spirit-filled worship leader, and I admire her leadership, her heart for people, and her ability to bake is out of this world! She is a joy to do life with! In 2018, we once again answered God’s call to plant a new church, and we moved with our 4 kids to Orange County, believing that God had a movement for us out here. We have spent the last 18 months searching for, preparing, and developing the best team to give the people of Orange County an incredible community, worship experience, kid’s ministry and opportunity for missional outreach. At the same time we have watched how God has faithfully continued to grow our leaders at our Hillsboro, Denver, and Park City, Netherlands campuses! Our story is not done! Pastor Luke Reid
