Tech901 is a Memphis-based nonprofit seeking to leverage and build local tech talent while working with employers to increase the Memphis technology job base. We connect area students, career seekers, and IT professionals with in-demand training and certification, through our tech skills academy, to foster a career in the tech industry – an industry that is projected by the Bureau of Labor Statistics to experience above-average job growth by 2025. We work closely with local employers seeking tech talent, as well as out-of-town employers who would potentially move their business to Memphis to take advantage of an attractive climate for cost-saving measures. We believe in Memphis and in its strong potential for growth. We seek to facilitate the restoration of 10,000 tech workers within 10 years while simultaneously attracting the companies that are on board with bringing new tech jobs to the area.
