Scouts helps over 460,000 young people in the UK develop the skills they need to succeed in life. Internationally, there are over 30 million young people enjoying the benefits of Scouting. We believe that young people develop most when they are 'learning by doing,' when they are given responsibility, work in teams, take acceptable risks and think for themselves. We also offer adventure to adults, and there is wide variety of roles and opportunities available to those who want to get involved. It’s about doing great things, loving and enjoying the great adventures and helping others to do the same.'

The Prince’s Trust believes that every young person should have the chance to succeed. We help young people aged 11-30 develop the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn. The youth charity was founded by His Majesty The King in 1976 when he was HRH The Prince Of Wales. Since then it has helped more than 1,000,000 young people. Three in four young people on Prince’s Trust courses move into work, education or training.
